MASTER SEMINAR SPEAKER
Sunday Master Seminar

John Henshaw has been working at Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC) since 2008 when he was hired to co-develop, manage, and instruct in a Biomanufacturing Workforce Training Program funded through the U.S. Department of Labor Community Jobs Based Training Program. At MWCC, Henshaw has worked on two different DOL TAACCCT Program grants in addition to serving as P.I. on a National Science Foundation ATE grant. Prior to becoming Dean of Workforce Development, he was an Assistant Dean for the Division of Business, Science, Technology, and Mathematics. Henshaw received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Washington where he worked in the NSF-funded Center for Process Analytical Chemistry. Following completion of his doctorate, he worked for Sippican, Inc., a private company seeking to expand sensing capabilities into the environmental field, and subsequently for the J.J. Wilbur Company, providing support for sales of chemical analysis instrumentation to industry, government, and academic institutions. Henshaw received his B.S. from Western Washington University in biology and worked for Lockheed-EMSCO supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency laboratory in Las Vegas before returning to school to complete graduate studies.
