SHERATON GRAND CHICAGO

Innovations 2016 will be held at the Sheraton Grand Chicago. Located in the heart of downtown, this hotel is ideally situated on the Chicago River, within walking distance of Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile shopping, Millennium Park, and other local favorites that make Chicago a one-of-a-kind destination.

Hotel Rate

The Sheraton Grand Chicago is currently accepting room reservations at a discounted rate of $199* per night (single/double) for Innovations 2016 participants. This special rate will be offered three days prior to and three days after the conference dates of March 20-23, 2016, subject to room availability at time of reservation. Mention the Innovations conference when calling 888.627.7106 to secure a reservation in the conference block. There are a limited number of guestrooms available at the discounted conference rate.

*Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 16.4%) in effect at the time of check-out.

Cut-Off Date

The cut-off date for accepting reservations into the conference block is February 22, 2016. Reservation requests received after this date will be accepted at the hotel’s prevailing rate based on availability.

Room Deposit

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of the arrival date will be charged one night’s room and tax only if the hotel is not able to replace the cancelled reservation.

Innovations 2016 conference participants must make lodging reservations directly with the Sheraton Grand Chicago. DO NOT BOOK A HOTEL ROOM with companies such as Convention Expo Travel or Convention Housing Services. These companies are contacting conference participants directly and advising that they officially represent the conference.

These companies are IN NO WAY affiliated with the Innovations conference or the League for Innovation. The League for Innovation is not responsible for reservations made with these companies.

GO Airport Express

Continental Airport Express Transport to/from O'Hare Airport
The huttle departs 25 minutes and 55 minutes past the hour. Allow 2½ hours before the flight for travel and check-in. The Sheraton Grand Chicago is the first stop on the route and the shuttle may stop at two other hotels before going to O’Hare.

Continental Airport Express Transport to/from Midway Airport
The shuttle departs 5 minutes and 35 minutes past the hour. Allow 2 hours before the flight for travel and check-in. The Sheraton Grand Chicago is the last stop on the route before going to Midway.

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Trains (a.k.a. the “L”)

CTA Trains to O'Hare Airport (ORD)

Located at Lake and Clark Streets in the State of Illinois Building, the L runs every 5 minutes (BLUE LINE) and takes about 50 minutes. The last stop will be Terminal 4 of O'Hare Airport.

CTA Trains to Midway Airport (MDW)

Located at Lake and Clark Streets in the State of Illinois Building, the L runs every 5 minutes (ORANGE LINE) and takes about 30 minutes.
