How Information Collected via the Web is Used

The personal information you provide about yourself when registering for a conference will only be used to complete your registration and only for that specific conference, except that a list of attendees names and addresses is available to sponsors and exhibitors. No information is shared with other outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the registration.

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Information obtained via online registration forms is encrypted, using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology. An SSL connection ensures privacy, authentication, and message integrity. The League web site also uses an Equifax digital certificate. With Equifax and SSL Technology, information sent via the Internet is encrypted and authenticated to protect access to communications and transactions. URLs beginning with "https://" indicate that an SSL connection will be used.

Definition of a Cookie

What is a cookie? Cookies are small bits of information (no larger than 4k) stored as text on a computer hard drive. Cookies remain on the computer until removed when an expiration date is reached, the user uses the web browser to remove the cookie, or the maximum of 100 cookies are stored on the computer and the oldest cookie is then automatically removed.
